Some new handouts in the library

The next time you’re in the library, take a look on the counter.  As well as the usual collection of office stationery, you’ll find we have a sheet of basic library information, which should be useful to find out when we open, our e-mail addresses and so on.

We also have copies of a small leaflet, showing you how to use the library catalogue.  This enables you to check from your PC (either here in College or at home) to see what books we have available at Manchester or at any other College of Law library throughout the country.  If you are interested in a book which we don’t have at Manchester let Steph or David know: it is often possible to arrange an informal inter-library loan.

The leaflet also shows you how to reserve a book that someone else has on loan, and how to renew your own loans.

Copies of the leaflets may go quickly, but we are replenishing them every few days.
