Newspapers on-line

You may recall that for several weeks at the beginning of term we had a series on the blog which explored how to use the main printed legal resources, and how to use the main databases.

This is the first in an occasional series in which we will look at various legal resources which are available to you on-line via ELITE.

As you know, we take the Daily Telegraph, the Financial Times, the Guardian, the Independent and the Times in hard copy each weekday. However, we have some more specialised newspapers available via ELITE. To check them out: click on the My Library tab, then in the Electronic Tools box click over Subject Links.  Scroll down the alphabetic list that now appears until you reach News, and click over it.

You should now be able to see the list of available on-line newspapers. The first item on the list, called the Financial News Review, includes stories from the Wall Street Journal.
