I’m sure you’ve all read by now the e-mail from support services indicating that the library will be closed on both Saturday and Sunday this coming weekend. We hope you understand that this was caused by matters beyond our control and we regret any inconvenience this has caused.
If you have your own transport, the library at the Chester centre is open and you are warmly invited to make use of it. The centre is in a village 3 miles east of Chester, so if you come by public transport you should go to the bus exchange and ask for the 41, 41a or 41b service. Alternatively, you can travel by taxi: ask for ‘The College of Law in Christleton’. (‘Christleton’ is pronounced ‘Krisselton’.) If you’re in a car and you have Sat Nav, our post code is CH3 7AB.
We have a car park, and when you arrive just look for a separate building called the Learning Resource Centre: the library is on the ground floor and the IT suite on the first floor.
The site is open from 10 am to 5 pm, and the library from 12 noon to 4 pm on both days. Security is not as complex in Chester, but to access the IT suite you will need to enter a code at the room door. I don’t want to put the code on this blog for security reasons, but if you’d like it please just e-mail me for it (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Whether you decide to study from home, or go to Chester, we hope you have an enjoyable weekend and a useful one!
