Lexis Research Training: a message from your Lexis rep

Dear all,

I will be running weekly drop in sessions on behalf of Lexis Nexis for any of you who want help with your legal research skills.

This will be great help for all GDL students getting to grips with finding relevant legislation, case law, or specific legal terms, those of you partaking in mooting and also any LPC students who want to brush up before the PLR assessment is released (I won’t be allowed to answer specific queries to LPC students once the assessment period begins.) I can also show you how to find case law involving counsel from specific law firms so you can read up before any important Training Contract interviews.

This week, I will be in the library, or alternatively the break out area, from:

Tuesday – 8.30 – 9.30 am and 12 – 1pm and 4 – 5pm

Friday – 8.30 – 9.30 am and 12 – 1pm

If for any reason you cannot make these times (particularly if you’re a part time or weekend student) and have any queries, please just drop me an email.

As an additional incentive I have lots of Lexis stash to hand out!

If you have any queries, please contact myself at

joseph.barker-willis62@lawcol.co.uk

Have a great week,

Joseph
