Do you know how to use Halsbury’s Laws, Halsbury’s Statutes and Is It In Force? This 45-minute workshop will teach you the essential skills of how to access and use key paper-based legal resources. It is particularly suitable for beginners and those who want a refresher in hard-copy resources to assist with their PLR or PfP2 exercise.

Thursday, March 19th 12.45pm to 1.30pm

Thursday, March 26th 12.45pm to 1.30pm

This lunchtime library workshop has been designed to assist with the PfP2. The focus will be on using commentary resources (dictionaries, Halsbury’s Laws, Practical Law, Westlaw’s Insight practitioner works and journal articles) but it’s also an opportunity to look at other problem areas as required (updating case law, using legal citators, etc).

The workshops will take place in the silent area of the library.
