Job description and Person Specification:
As a result of student feedback and following discussions with the Student Association, the Library is running a trial from May to July whereby fines will not be charged on most overdue Library books. Please note books should still be renewed or returned by their due date.
The one exception to this is that fines will be charged on reserved items which are not returned by the due date. If you have a book on loan which is reserved by another student you will receive an email from the Library confirming the date the book must be returned by. If you fail to return the book by that date a charge of £5 will be placed on your Library account the day after the due date. This charge will increase by £5 every 7 days if the book is not returned.
The reason for this charge is to ensure that all students wishing to loan items will be able to do so.
We welcome any feedback you have during the trial.
